    • ***************************************************************** ************** LIFE OUTLINE    Thomas Tindall ***************************************************************** ************** DATE            EVENT --------------- --------------------------------------------------------------- -     Born in England. -     Married to Elizabeth M. ???. 1678 Came to America in 1678 on the ship "Shield" . circa 1686 Birth of daughter, Elizabeth. circa 1687     He was the original owner of the land where the Pearson Memorial Church Cemetery is now located  . 1692     Owned land in Nottingham Township, Burlington Co, NJ . 2 Feb 1692/3   Listed in the Nottingham Town Book as being present at a Towne Meeting at the house of William Blauth.  It was agreed that, at the discretion of the Towne Meeting, fines would be given to such persons that "absent themselves after being given timely notice by the [township] constable.   It was then agreed that Tindall would be one of two people to give notice to the inhabitants of Nottingham "when Publique and Necessary occasions shall require".   25 Mar 1695 Listed in the Nottingham Town Book  as a "Taxable Inhabitant of the Township of Nottingham"   . 23 Nov 1697     Listed in the Nottingham Town Book as agreeing to a law requiring persons to do "due and proportional service at all publique and common days work, for the repairation of bridges and highways, &c., and other publique necessary service" . 29 Jan 1699     Listed in the Nottingham Town Book as being chosen Overseer of the Wayes . 11 Feb 1702     Listed in the Nottingham Town Book as being "creditor to cash laid out, 14:06.  Ditto, debtor by 3s.6p received 03:06" . 6 Dec 1703     Listed in the Nottingham Town Book as "the Constable gathered 3 pounds, 9 shillings, 6 pence, part of the double assessment, assessed the eighth day of the 12 month, Anno 1702.
